The MPU-9250 is a compact 9-axis MotionTracking device from InvenSense, integrating a 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis magnetometer, and Digital Motion Processor™ (DMP) into a small 3 × 3 × 1 mm QFN package. Designed for space-constrained motion-sensing applications, it supports complete 9-axis MotionFusion™ output through an integrated sensor architecture and dedicated auxiliary I²C interface.
With programmable gyro ranges of ±250, ±500, ±1000, and ±2000°/s, accelerometer ranges of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g, and ±16g, and a magnetometer range of ±4800 µT, the MPU-9250 is suitable for both fast dynamic motion tracking and lower-speed orientation sensing. It also features 16-bit ADCs for gyroscope and accelerometer outputs, a 14-bit magnetometer output, programmable digital filters, FIFO buffering, interrupt functions, and low-power operating modes.
